Strong Media Response in South Wales…

LTU’s campaign moved on to Newport and Bridgend this week.
Customers of Lloyds TSB signed our petition in large numbers over the two days in spite of some very heavy rain… particularly in Newport (see pictures 3 & 4).
HTV Wales provided an extended bulletin on their early evening news and once again Peter O’Grady (top picture) was on hand to press home LTU’s concerns and policy. Their coverage also included a “live” lunchtime link and interview with Peter outside the branch in Bridgend.
There are nearly 1000 Lloyds TSB jobs potentially at risk in South Wales across two call–centres in Cardiff and Newport.
