It isn't often that LTU can agree wholeheartedly with the Bank's views on offshoring

The Bank has issued a communication to staff urging them to use a specific directory enquiries provider, describing the benefits as including "calls are handled in the UK by experienced ex 192 operators" and "provides a fast and accurate service".

But the Union believes this is a case of double-standards ... why can't its own customers also enjoy the higher quality service provided by experienced UK-based staff?

In fact, LTU has published details of typical comments provided by branch staff on customers' experience of the Bank's India operations, showing just how dissatisfied customers are with the service they are being provided.
